When Women Gather…
The 18th Annual Chesapeake Professional Women’s Network (CPWN) Fashion Show took place on October 11 and was a knockout show! It was held, as in years past, at the Richlin Ballroom in Edgewood, MD. The theme was continued from CPWN’s 20th Anniversary, “When Women Gather, Magic Happens.” and this night was no exception. The ballroom was dazzling in Black, White and Pink. No detail was left out.
…Magic Happens.
Over the last 18 years, CPWN has donated over $160,000.00 to various Harford County charities that support women, with the funds raised by the fashion show. Established in June of 1996 as a response to the growing need for communication among women in the workplace, the Chesapeake Professional Women’s Network has a diverse membership with a shared interest in supporting women in business.
Sappari Solutions takes pride in being an active member of the community. We provided not only a silent auction item but also Nettie was thrilled to have the opportunity to walk the runway wearing clothing from Joseph’s Department Store in Havre de Grace. Her hair and makeup were provided by Coco Leigh Hair Boutique in Forest Hill.
Joseph’s Department Store for Fashion
Joseph’s Department Store is a family owned and operated department store in historic Havre de Grace. Since 1937 they have been serving the local community. This business has been an anchor in the downtown area and part of what makes this little city such a charming place. Joseph’s provides clothing for men, women and children, and a range of other products, such as toys, games, and puzzles. Joseph’s is at the heart of our community and provides personal and exceptional customer service in ways that the big box stores don’t.
Here are a few pictures from the preparation and the show! The Joseph Ribkoff dress truly stole the show and many attendees were surprised to find out that Joseph’s carries this line of clothing. Enjoy and be sure to look for this fabulous event again next October.
